Bringing solar power to Londoners

Experts in collective energy schemes, iChoosr enable groups of people to get better energy prices by buying together instead of individually. They also operate group buying of solar installations under their Solar Together brand.

What was the challenge?

iChoosr asked for our help to communicate a collective buying solar scheme for London. Solar Together London was launched in five London boroughs – Brent, Ealing, Kingston, Merton and Sutton – as part of the Mayor of London’s solar strategy.

The projects successful trial launch led 4000 households to register their interest and then 1100 people to sign up. Then the scheme was extended to a further 8 London boroughs – including Camden, Haringey, Havering, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Newham, Waltham Forest and Westminster.

How did we respond?

The launch of this project required a truly multi-channel campaign which came with the challenge of combining and maintaining both the strong identities of Solar Together and The Mayor of London, but at the same time allowing the individual local council authorities to add their stamp to all communications.

We helped design, deliver, customize/localize the various marketing materials across web, print, screen and poster advertising, street banners and events. (We had also previously designed the original Solar Together brand identity)

What else did we do?

Besides the Solar Together scheme, we also provide graphic design support to iChoosr across their energy switching operations both with local authorities and partner organisations.

We have typically designed print advertising, online display adverts, direct mail, posters, exhibition stands, banners and reports.
